Astrid Rosamund Jack

JACK, Astrid Rosamund (79), Dartmouth passed away suddenly at the Q.E.11 Health Science Centre, Halifax on Friday, Feb. 26, 2010. Born in Liverpool, N.S. she was a daughter of the late Hans and Gertrude (Gale) Anderson. She is survived by two sons; Mark (Ruth) McKinley, Dartmouth and Myles Jack, Lower Sackville; brother Jack (Mona) Anderson, Sherbrooke; sister Marie Anderson Sherbrooke. Two nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband Edwin McKinley; brother Douglas and sister-in-law Madge Anderson. According to Astrid’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private graveside service will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Sherbrooke at a later date, with Rev. Betty Darby officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Bide Awhile Animal Shelter, Dartmouth. Funeral arrangements are under the dignified and compassionate care of G.W.
