Hatton, Harry Clayton ~ Age 70,
Sherbrooke. It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Harry
Hatton on Sunday, September 27, 2015, in St. Mary’s Memorial
Hospital, Sherbrooke, surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Enfield,
he was a son of the late William and Josephine (Francis) Hatton. Harry
spent his younger years working many jobs. He went to NSIT and got his
cooking license, becoming a chef for Aero Caterers with Air Canada. He
also took a property management course with I.P.O.N.S. and became Head
Superintendent for Centennial Management and Universal Management. He
finished his working career as a plant worker and truck driver for
Sonora Clams Ltd. Harry’s joys in life were his kids, grand
kids, Nascar Racing and old music. Harry is survived by
sons, David (Kim), Dutch Settlement, Brian (Christine), Clarksville,
Kevin (Cara), Sherbrooke, daughter, Holly (Robert) Cook, Sherbrooke;
grandchildren, Shealyn, Jonah, Lauren, Matthew, Carson, and Kenzie;
brother, Ricky (Louise), Enfield; many nieces and nephews. He was
predeceased by sisters, Joan Hurshman, Florence MacNamara, Jackie
Bendoff, Josephine Greenfield; brothers, Tommy, and William in
infancy. One of Dad’s final wishes was for us to express how
thankful he was for the wonderful care and treatment he received from
the nurses and staff at St. Mary’s Memorial Hospital.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Wednesday 7-9 p.m.
in G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, St. Mary’s Chapel, Sherbrooke
from where memorial service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. with
Debbie Stewart officiating. Memorial donations may be made to St.
Mary’s Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke. Funeral arrangements
are under the dignified and compassionate care of the G.W. Giffin
