Kaiser, Ruby Lillian Age 84, St. Mary’s River, Guysborough County, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 in Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in Sonora, she was a daughter of the late Asa and Edna (Burns) Jordan. Ruby was a member of Sonora Baptist Church, Women’s Institute of Nova Scotia, Women’s Baptist Missionary Society and St. Mary’s Garden Club. She is survived by her husband, Victor, sons, Perry, Lunenburg; Peter (Ruth Dary), Edmonton, Alberta; daughter, Penny Kaiser (Dan Zwicker), Lunenburg; sister, Mary (Murray) Baker, Liscomb;  grandchildren, Daniel, Thomas and  Peter Nightingale, Katie and Rebecca Kaiser; great grandchildren, William and Ezra Nightingale; sister-in-law, Marion Jordan; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Parker "Pat" Jordan, Trueman Jordan; sisters, Verena Keizer, Myrtle "Todd" Boutilier. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. on Friday in Sonora  Baptist Church from where funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. with Rev. Derek Elsworth officiating.
