FELTMATE, James Lee Age 73,
Goshen, Guysborough Co., passed away at home on Tuesday April 26,
2016. Born in Antigonish, he
was a son of the late Nathaniel and Mary Jane (Jordan) Feltmate. James
was a trucker all of his working life with various contractors in the
local area. He also worked as a compliance officer with the Department
of Transportation for over 20 years. James served as an auxiliary
police officer with the RCMP Sherbrooke Detachment for 12
years. James is survived by his son, Bradley, Goshen;
grandsons, Keagan and Nolan; sister, Alice Feltmate Fenton Strickland,
Lethbridge, Alberta; sister in law, Barbara MacKeen, Goshen, several
nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Sharon (March 4,
2016), daughter, Maureen (December 15, 2015); brothers, Wesley
Feltmate and Wilfred MacKeen, sisters, Florence Yuzdepski, Alma
Chambers, Betty Huggan, Dorothy Murphy and Bertha Mason. Visitation
will be held Saturday April 30th from 2:00-3:30
p.m. in Goshen Gospel Church from where funeral service will be held
at 3:30 p.m. with Pastor John Luten officiating. Family flowers only
please. Memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation
of Nova Scotia or Goshen Gospel Church. Funeral arrangements are under
