Jarvis, Clara Theresa Age 87, of Whitehead, Guysborough Co. passed away peacefully in Milford Haven Home for Special Care, Guysborough on Wednesday, June 15, 2016.  Born in Whitehead on February 12, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Duncan and Ester (McAlister) MacDonald. In her many years, Clara enjoyed quilting, having company and cooking a good feed for all. She is survived by her son, Terry (Sheila), Whitehead; granddaughter, Chelsea (Chris), Whitehead; her sister, Betty, London, England; many nieces and nephews.  Clara was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Harry; son, John; sister, Ella Mills, brothers, Charlie and John MacDonald.  Visitation will be held Monday, June 20, from 1 p.m. until time of funeral service at 3 pm in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Port Felix, with Father Dan MacDonald officiating. Interment to follow in St. Joseph’s Parish Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Whitehead Community Association.
