Fowler, Phyllis Odell Age 93, of Halifax, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 25, 2017 in Shannex Parkstone Enhanced Care, Halifax. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Arthur Vincent and Sarah Rose (Aloy) Giffin. During her working years, Phyllis was employed as a nurse, a time which she spoke fondly of. Phyllis is survived by her grandsons, Todd (Janice) Grover, Toronto, Ont.; Leslie (Patricia) Grover, Tor Bay; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Katie and Mateo. Cremation has taken place. Private burial to be held at a later date in Goldboro. Memorial donations in Phyllis’s memory may be made to Dalhousie Medical Research Foundation or Shannex Parkstone Enhanced Care, Halifax.
