Archibald, Ronald Samuel, Age
69, of Sherbrooke, Guysborough County passed away on Wednesday, March
22, 2017, in St. Mary’s Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke. Born
in Aspen, he was a son of the late Alexander and Helen (MacKeen)
Archibald. Ronnie drove truck and school bus and was a
jack-of-all-trades, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 56,
Sherbrooke. He is survived by his wife, Kathy; daughters, Anita Paul,
Rose Archibald; grandchildren, Chance Paul , Sharday Paul, Logan Paul,
Harley Cummer, Dustin Cummer, Haylie Cummer, Kylie Cummer; several
great-grandchildren; brothers, Andy Archibald and Paul Hudson; sister,
Elizabeth (Harry) Ivey; nieces and nephews, Alexandra, goddaughter
Sarah, Thomas, Sandy, David and Susan. He was predeceased by
brother Wayne. A funeral and Legion Service will be held at 11 a.m.
Thursday in Kirk Memorial United Church, Aspen with Rev. Derek
Elsworth officiating. Committal to follow in Evergreen Cemetery,
Aspen. Memorial donations may be made to The Lung Association Nova
