Archibald, Ronald Samuel, Age 69, of Sherbrooke, Guysborough County passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, in St. Mary’s Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke. Born in Aspen, he was a son of the late Alexander and Helen (MacKeen) Archibald. Ronnie drove truck and school bus and was a jack-of-all-trades, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 56, Sherbrooke. He is survived by his wife, Kathy; daughters, Anita Paul, Rose Archibald; grandchildren, Chance Paul , Sharday Paul, Logan Paul, Harley Cummer, Dustin Cummer, Haylie Cummer, Kylie Cummer; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Andy Archibald and Paul Hudson; sister, Elizabeth (Harry) Ivey; nieces and nephews, Alexandra, goddaughter Sarah, Thomas, Sandy, David and Susan.  He was predeceased by brother Wayne. A funeral and Legion Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Kirk Memorial United Church, Aspen with Rev. Derek Elsworth officiating. Committal to follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Aspen.
