Elizabeth grew tired so our Lord has taken her home on March 23, 2017.  She was surrounded by her family and friends at the time of her passing.  Born in Canso, Margaret Elizabeth was the youngest daughter of Enos & Cecille (Bellefontaine) Greencorn.  Living in Pictou, she was a member of Stella Maris Parish and CWL.  She had been a teacher’s helper in Religious Education for several years.  Elizabeth was employed with Pictou Advocate.  Elizabeth loved life, her children, angel collection, a good game of bingo, and a good cup of tea at Tim’s with her friends.  She will be sadly missed by her children, Joeigh, Halifax; Kimberlee and Edward, at home; step-daughter, Amy, Lake Echo; and step-son, Jeff, Tantallon; two granddaughters, Teagan & Madelyn.  She is survived by her soul-mate, Joe Roberts; her parents, Enos & Cecille, Port Felix; her only sister, Laurena, New Glasgow; aunt Brenda; loving niece and nephews, grand nieces and nephew; and her friend, Amanda MacLean.  We would like to extend our appreciation to the Doctors and Nurses of 5th Floor, Palliative Care, Aberdeen Hospital, especially Rachael and Jackie who made the family’s last night very comfortable.  Visitation will be held 2-4 & 7-9 PM Monday in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou.  Elizabeth will then be going home to Port Felix for visitation 2-4 & 7-9 PM Tuesday in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, where Funeral Mass will be held 11 AM Wednesday with Father Dan MacDonald officiating.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date.  No flowers by request of the family.  Donations in her memory may be made to The Lodge That Gives.  Port Felix portion of the funeral is under the dignified and compassionate care of the G.W. Giffin Funeral Home Ltd, 17545 Highway 316, Country Harbour. Online condolences may be made at www.gwgiffin.com
