Keith Grant Wilson, 67,
of Liscomb, passed away suddenly on Monday April
17th, 2017 in Antigonish.
Keith was born on March 6th 1950 in
Sherbrooke and was the son of the late Augustus and Clare
(Spanks) Wilson. He worked in the forestry industry for over
40 years, with his brother Sherm. He enjoyed nature
and recording the many species of birds, plants, and
animals. He loved going fishing and taking long drives. He
enjoyed watching boxing and hockey. He could be found playing crib,
reading, or doing something outside. He was an award-winning
table tennis player, who shared his joy of the game with others. Keith
is survived by his brother, Sherman Wilson, Sherbrooke; sister, Doreen
(Peg) Rudolph, Dartmouth; son, Jason (Shannon) Wilson, Liscomb;
daughters, Tanya (Reid) Doucette, Saskatchewan; and Tracy Wilson,
Ottawa; as well as his eight grandchildren, and many nieces and
nephews. Keith is preceded in death by his parents,
his companion, Barbara MacDonald, brothers, Ron and Wayne Wilson,
brother-in-law, Sterling Rudolph and sister-in-law, Pat Wilson. A
Celebration of Keith’s Life will be held in G.W.
Giffin Funeral Home, St. Mary’s Chapel, Sherbrooke
on Sunday, April 23rd, 2017 from 3-5
p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made
to Nova Scotia Nature Trust. The family wishes to extend
