Higgins, Mary Bernice Age 68 of Spryfield, Halifax County. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother who passed away on Friday, August, 4, 2017 in Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro. Born in Antigonish, she was a daughter of the late Chesley and Geneva (Rudolph) Kaiser. Mary loved doing crafts and cooking. She worked as an usher at Scotiabank Centre. She is survived by her husband, Mitch; daughter, Paula; son, Henry "Hank"; brother, Paul(Ruth); nieces, Wanda & Paulette, nephew, Owen; several cousins. A graveside service will be held Saturday, August, 26 at 2 p.m. in St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery, Port Bickerton with Rev. Kristin MacKenzie officiating. Family flowers only please. Memorial donations may be made to The Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia. The care she received at Cedarstone Enhanced Care was superb.  The medical staff and staff in general were wonderful.
