SPONAGLE, Cynthia Eileen, formerly of Sherbrooke, Guysborough County passed away on Tuesday, December 4th, 2018, at Shoreham Village in Chester. She was born in Roachvale, Guysborough County on August 16th, 1929, a daughter of the late James and Evelyn (Grant) Horton. She was an excellent seamstress and worked for several years as a secretary. Cynthia is survived by daughters, Lynn (Don) Sponagle of Port Mouton and Lori (Stanley) Sponagle of Montreal; one brother, Cecil (Lucy) Horton of North Sydney; also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Malcolm Sponagle. There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held in the spring, with a location and time to be announced. Interment will be in Waternish Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Memorial donations may be made to St. John's United Church, Sherbrooke or a charity of choice.
