Propp, Nancy Eileen
(Myers) Age 65 of Port Felix, Guysborough
County, died peacefully on Thursday, February 28, 2019 in St.
Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish, surrounded by her
family. Born in Manchester, she was a daughter of the late
Harry and Anna (Torrey) Myers. Nancy enjoyed a fulfilling life with
numerous hobbies including; fishing, gardening, cooking and painting.
She was very sociable, and through her various jobs and many years at
Long’s Service Station she got to know many people from the
community and surrounding areas. Nancy is survived by her loving
partner, David Boudreau, daughters, Angela (Skip), Timberlea; Tania,
Amherst; son, Albert (Melanie), Ontario; grandchildren, Dorothy,
Miranda, Paige, Mallory, Hilary, Aaron, Logan, Samuel, Maxime; several
great-grandchildren, brothers, Ralph (Debbie), Boylston;
Allan (Darlene), Guysborough Intervale; former son-in-law, Brian
Decoste, many nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. She was
predeceased by her husband, George Long; brother, Raymond Torrey.
Cremation has taken place. No visitation by request. Funeral service
will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Boylston United Church,
with Rev. Heather Manuel officiating. Interment in Boylston United
Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family and loved ones are asking
that memorial donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of
Nova Scotia or to a charity of your choice. Nancy’s family
would like to give their sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses,
support staff and technicians at Guysborough Memorial Hospital and St.
Martha’s Regional Hospital. In her final days,
Nancy’s family knew she was well cared for. Funeral
