"Roy" It is with great sadness
that we announce the passing of Roy, at the age of 57. Roy was born in
Sherbrooke, a son of the late Henry Wilmott and Dorothy (MacIntosh)
and step-father, Murray Fleet. He is survived by his daughter,
Jennifer (Jerrod) Peterson; Prince Albert, Saskatchewan; special
grandchildren, Oliver, Brooklyn, and Charlotte; brothers, Gary
(Hertha), Kimball (Gabriela), both of Sherbrooke; Chris (Karen),
Antigonish; Dennis, Halifax; sisters, Michelle, Lori-Anne (Freddy),
Tracey (Ryan) all of Grande Prairie, Alberta; many nieces and nephews.
Roy was predeceased by his brother Travis. Roy worked in the oil
fields of Alberta; off shore Nova Scotia; numerous safety supervising
positions; sea-urchin diving; St. Mary’s River Smoke House;
and lastly National Resources, Stillwater, until his death. Roy was a
past member of St. Mary’s Dart League and Curling Club. He
enjoyed fishing, hunting, wheeling and boating. Roy had special
memories of his dog Morgan. Funeral service will be held in
St. James Presbyterian Church, Sherbrooke Village on Friday at 2 p.m.
with Bill Johnston officiating. A time of remembrance will follow in
St. Mary’s Lions Hall, Sherbrooke. Family flowers only
please. Memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation
of Nova Scotia or a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements are
