Barkhouse, Margaret Frances Mae "Maggie" Age 32 of Liscomb Mills. With broken hearts we regret to announce Maggie's sudden passing on Friday, July 19th, 2019. Maggie was the sweet baby girl of Diane and the late Earle Barkhouse. She passed away peacefully in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish, surrounded by her loving family. Maggie's larger than life personality, infectious giggles and sense of humour will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. She dearly loved to read books, kept up with everyone's antics on Facebook and she was Alan Doyle's "Great Big Sea" biggest fan. Maggie always looked forward to her nightly phone conversations with her beloved sister Angie and special visits with her Aunt Dar. She is survived by, mother, Diane; sister, Angie (Rob); aunts, Darlene (Wayne), Sandra (Keith), Nancy (Larry), Dawn (Jim), and Helen; uncles, James Junior (Dorothy), Johnnie (Connie), Ted (Greta) and so many special cousins. She was predeceased by grandparents, James and Margaret, Tom and Goldie, aunt, Hazel, uncles, Basil, Cyril and Elmer. There will be no visitation or service with private burial at a later date. Maggie’s family would like to thank Keith and the EHS team, first responders, Drs. Ackermann and Chisholm, ER Staff at both St. Mary's and St. Martha's hospitals for their wonderful care. Maggie was such a sweet little thing who made such a huge and unforgettable impression on everyone who knew her. She is missed more than words can describe.
