Webber, Harold Vincent Age 76, of Jordanville, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 12, 2019, surrounded by his family in High-Crest Sherbrooke Home for Special Care. Born in Marshy Hope, he was a son of the late Burton and Irene (Pye) Webber. Harold drove 18 wheelers for many years and was a woods contractor until his retirement. Harold was raised in Indian Harbour Lake, married Jessie and moved to Ontario for several years. Upon returning to Nova Scotia, he and Jessie lived in Jordanville. He was involved with the Sherbrooke and Area Volunteer Fire Department for many years and the IHL and Jordanville Community Centre. He enjoyed playing cards, darts, golfing, fishing and tinkering in his garage along with spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Jessie; their children, Ricky, Pugwash; Cheryl (Darren), Liscomb; Chrissy (Kevin), Indian Harbour Lake; grandchildren, Richard, Samantha, Derek, Andrew, Marcus, Mikayla, Angela; great-grandchildren, Dawson, Taylor, Cohen; brothers, Murray (Sharon), Country Harbour; Doug (Kathleen), Torbay; sisters, Verna (Morley) Cluett, Country Harbour; Mona (Sheldon), Kentville; many nieces, nephews and their families. He was predeceased by brother, Russell, sister, Dorothy Furlong. Visitation will be held Thursday from 6-9 pm in St. Thomas Anglican Church, Indian Harbour Lake from where funeral service will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Gary Sinclair officiating. Interment to follow in Sunset Rest Cemetery, Indian Harbour Lake. Family flowers only please. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or Sunset Rest Cemetery.
