Mills, Barbara Irene Age 76Westphal, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2019, in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Isaac’s Harbour, she was a daughter of the late Lindsay and Lillian (MacMillan) Langille. Barbara was a housewife, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She worked with Halifax School Board for 40 years as a lunch monitor. She enjoyed playing bingo and dancing. Barbara is survived by daughters, Adelia (Norman) Jack, Heather (Paul) Jack, Karla (Dennis) Hewitt, Lisa (Michael) Riley; several brothers and sisters-in-law; grandchildren, Dwayne (Malena) Fancy, Lindsay (William) Cochran, Christopher Hewitt (Lexi Misner), Stephen Jack, Michaela Hewitt, Fraser Riley; great-grandchildren, Delaney, Nathan, Westley, and Norah; honorary grandchildren, Halie, Elena, Ava, and Ainsley; several nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her husband, Fraser, brother, Norman; sister, Jean in infancy; Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Atlantic Funeral Home, Dartmouth Chapel, 771 Main St. Dartmouth from where funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Lewis MacIntosh officiating. A graveside committal service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Isaac’s Harbour Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Bel Ayr Elementary School, 4 Bell Street, Dartmouth NS, B2W 2P3.
