Robar, Eugene Ernest "Faud" Age 74, formerly of Country Harbour passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2019 in the R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home, Antigonish. Born in Country Harbour, he was a son of the late Sterling and Gloria (Hallett) Robar. In his earlier years, he worked in the woods a pulp cutter, enjoyed Bingo, playing cards and visiting. He is survived by brothers, Johnnie, Antigonish; Ronald "Barry" (Marilyn), Dartmouth; David, Country Harbour; sisters, Paulette (Fraser), New Glasgow; Darlene (Dale), Eight Island Lake; Dana (Ken), New Glasgow; several nieces, nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his brother, Kevin. Visitation will be held Thursday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in GW Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour. A family interment will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Stormont Cemetery with Rev. Sue Channen officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Faud’s family to help with funeral expenses.
