Pinkham, Percy Conwell Age 86, of Coddles Harbour, Guysborough Co., passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, in the R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home, Antigonish. Born in Coddles Harbour, he was a son of the late Charles and Rita (Tanner) Pinkham. Percy was a kind and gentle man who loved being surrounded by his family. He had a love for the ocean, spending a lot of his free time building his 32 foot fishing boat and sailing with his grandchildren. Many people remember Percy as the Captain of the Stormont Ferry for over 17 years. He was always full of stories and loved making people laugh. He is survived by his wife, Josephine (Wright); daughter, Patricia (Marty) Langille, Coddles Harbour; son, Conwell (Tina) Pinkham, Roachvale; grandchildren, Sarah, Andrea, Emily, Taylor, Jayna, Kelsey, Matthew; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and their families. He was predeceased by a brother, Morris (Edith) Pinkham. Visitation will be held Friday from 5-8 p.m. in New Harbour Baptist Church from where funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. with Rev. David Wheeler officiating. Interment in Riverside Cemetery, New Harbour.  Family flowers only please. Memorial donations may be made to New Harbour Baptist Church, Riverside Cemetery Improvement Association, or the R.K. MacDonald Foundation. Percy’s family would like to say a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Cobblestone Cottage for the excellent care given to him and his family during his time with them.
