RUDOLPH, Allister Garfield Age 91 of Port Bickerton, Guysborough County passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 in St. Mary’s Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke. Born in Port Bickerton, he was a son of the late Walter and Gladys (Macumber) Rudolph. Allister was a retired commercial fisherman, fishing for 50 years out of Bickerton, operating his own boat the "Jeff & Dean". After retiring he worked with the Canadian Coast Guard for 7 years. He enjoyed welding and building carts, bobsleds and snowplows for 4 wheelers. Allister lobster fished well into his late 80’s with his pals, Harvey Taylor and Clarence Siteman. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte (Kaiser); daughter, Viola (Charles) Jack, Bickerton West; son, Wade (Remona), Indian Harbour Lake; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; sister, Geraldine (Brian) Backler, Campbell River, British Columbia;  several nieces, nephews and their families. He was predeceased by son, Martin; brothers, Arthur, Maynard; sisters, Irene McKeller and Thelma Todd. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a funeral service and interment will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Port Bickerton or St. Mary’s Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke. Funeral arrangements are under the dignified and compassionate care of G.W.
