Rennie Louise Mailman

Mailman, Rennie Louise Age 79, of Liscomb, Guysborough County passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 in St. Mary’s Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke. Born in Roddickton, Newfoundland, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Sadie (Canning) Hancock. Rennie worked for many years at Liscomb Lodge Resort. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and playing cards "Skip-Bo". She loved her grandchildren dearly as they were her pride and joy. Rennie is survived by sons, Joey (Stacy), Adrian (Sherri), all of Liscomb; daughter, Jody (Jodi) Ross, Chezzetcook; treasured granddaughters, Kelsey-Jean, Courtney, Kailey and Natalya; sister, Jean (Junior), Deer Lake, Nfld; brother, Bruce, Deer Lake, Nfld; many nieces,  nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her husband, Hector and two brothers. A private family funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, Sherbrooke with Pastor Wayne Bray and Rev. Kristin MacKenzie officiating followed by a public graveside committal at 3 p.m. in St. Luke’s Anglican Cemetery, Liscomb. Social distancing protocols must be followed. Donations in Rennie’s memory may be made to St. Mary’s Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke. Funeral arrangements are under the dignified and compassionate care of G.W.
