Langley, George "Seymour"
Age 81, of Isaac’s Harbour, Guysborough Co.,
passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 in the R.K. MacDonald Nursing
Home, Antigonish. Born in Isaac’s Harbour, he was a son of
the late Chester and Lottie (Clyburn). Seymour was a "jack of all
trades", working as a mechanic, with Silviculture, on the
highways to name a few. He had a great love of Country Music; a
wonderful sense of humor, loved to tease and carry-on. He is survived
by his daughter, Christina (Tim) Downey; grandchildren, Courtney
Downey, Cory Langley, Anthony, Nicole, Charlene, Santana; brothers,
Reggie (Darlene), Isaac’s Harbour; Rollie (Ella), Country
Harbour; sisters, Lillian Henderson, Antigonish; Margaret Burnes,
Greenfield, Mass.; many nieces, nephews and their families. Seymour
was predeceased by his wife, Doris (O’Donnell); son, James;
brothers; Lornie, Everett, James; sisters, Helen MacLennan, Christina
Matheson, Adeline Smith, Shirley Hallett, and Winifred Cleversey. A
graveside service for family will be held Friday, January
15th in Isaac’s Harbour Cemetery with
Lewis MacIntosh officiating. Family flowers only please. Memorial
donations may be made to Harbourview Fire Department. Funeral
