Boutilier, Daniel Burton ~ St. Mary’s River,
Guysborough County passed away after a courageous battle with cancer,
with his family by his side on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, in St.
Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born at St.
Mary’s River, he was a son of the late Lillian (Jack)
Carlton and Fred Jollota. Danny was raised by his maternal
grandparents the late Walter and Effie Jack. His passions included
music, fishing, and yelling "BINGO". He cherished his family
trips to Peggy’s Cove. His smiles and hugs will always be
missed. We will hold you in our hearts until we meet again.
Danny is survived by his wife Sheila, son, Tim (Cristina), Grand
Prairie, Alberta; daughters, Davene (Elmer) Smith, Sherbrooke; Debbie
(Kent) Cooke, Utah, USA; Susanne (Tom) LeBlanc, Dartmouth; Sheana
(Jeremy) Boutilier, Calgary, Alberta; grandchildren, David, Brian,
Gloria, Matthew, Stephen, Stephanie, Nicole, Kaitlyn, Chad, Jenna,
Daniel, Delaney, Mia, Jaymee, Tyler, brothers, Darryl (Shirley)
Boutilier, St. Andrew’s, N.B.; Russell (Ruth) Carlton,
Windsor Junction; Carmen Jollota, Sonora; Barry (Kathy) Carlton,
Sackville; sisters, Kelly (Richard) Burns, Diane Benson, Delores
(John) Huntley, all of St. Mary’s River; Sylvia Hubley,
Liscomb; Debbie Ward, Chester; Carolyn, USA; many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by daughter Kimberly Fisher, grandchildren, Beth
Fisher and Vaughn Boutilier. Visitation will be held on
Friday from 7-9 pm in G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, St. Mary’s
Chapel, Sherbrooke from where funeral service will be held Saturday at
2:00 p.m. with Pastor Barry Jack officiating. Interment will follow in
St. Mary’s River Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
