Beaver, Utah Victoria Singapore ~ Age 89 of Sherbrooke, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2014, in High-Crest Sherbrooke Home for Special Care. She was a daughter of the late Harry and Sadie (Feltmate) Newell. Utah had a wonderful sense of humour, was very sociable, loved her family and friends, playing cards, walking, and cooking. She shared many pans of brownies and chocolate chip cookies. Utah is survived by sons, Aubrey (Carol), Glenelg; Tom, Lower Sackville; Owen (Nancy), Darrell (Betty), all of Sherbrooke; daughters, Anna Lee (Don) Barnes, Sherbrooke; Eileen (Keith) MacKillop, Little Grand River; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Erma Gravelle, Dartmouth, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, Aubrey; grandson, Joel, brother, Renyolds in infancy, sister, Eileen Zwicker; son-in-law Kevin Curley; daughter-in-law, Sandra Beaver.  Funeral service for Utah will be held in St. James Presbyterian Church, Historic Sherbrooke Village at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 8, 2014 with Rev. Derek Elsworth officiating. A private family committal will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Sherbrooke. The family invites everyone to a reception at the House of Jade Restaurant following the funeral service. Family flowers only please.
