Cameron, Ernest Aolmon, Age 70 Of Country Harbour, Guysborough County passed away suddenly in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish on Friday May 22, 2015. Born in Antigonish, he was a son of the late Robert and Elva (Mason) Cameron. Ernest worked as an electrician for many years, at Antigonish Wholesalers, Nova Scotia Power, and was a school bus driver for 43 years. He loved Wilf Carter and Newfoundland music, enjoyed genealogy and local history, often answering questions as well as posting pictures and telling the story to go with them. He is survived by wife, Carolyn (Jones); son, Keith, Truro; brother, Willard (Marilyn), Country Harbour; sisters, Lorraine (David) Gates, River Bourgeois; Margaret Rose (Stephen) Guimond, Lower Sackville; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be take place today in Stormont Union Church from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from where funeral will held at 2 p.m. Monday with Derek Elsworth officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. Funeral arrangements are under the dignified and compassionate care of G.W.
