THOMPSON, Claude Age
49, of Sherbrooke, Guysborough
County, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021, in St.
Mary’s Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke. Born in Hawkesbury,
Ontario; he was a son of the late Richard and Marie (Lalonde)
Thompson. Claude worked for Safety First-SFC as a traffic control
person, in the local area. He is survived by his common-law wife,
Elizabeth Kelly; daughter, Brittany Thompson, Moncton, N.B.; sons,
Brandon Thompson (Julia Mills), Antigonish; Connor Thompson,
Antigonish; stepdaughters, Nicole Hiltz, Calgary, Alberta; Holly Hiltz
(Darren Mattie), Sherbrooke; Samantha Hiltz (Bradley MacDonald),
Sherbrooke; grandchildren, Renesmee, Silver, Quinn, Carter, Owen;
brother, Timothy Thompson; sister, Stephanie Thompson, several nieces,
nephews and their families. Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions,
a celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Memorial
donations may be made to St. Mary’s Memorial Hospital,
Sherbrooke. Funeral arrangements are under the dignified and
