Marie Constance "Connie" Pettipas

Pettipas, Marie Constance "Connie" age 91, of Milford Haven Home for Special Care, Guysborough and formerly of Larry's River, Guysborough Co., passed away on June 13, 2021. Born in Larry's River, she was a daughter of the late John "Ambrose" and Sophie (Avery) Pettipas. Connie is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She worked at the Hotel Nova Scotian for 12 years, Moirs Chocolates for 1 year, and Murphy’s General Store for 10 years. Connie loved to bake; her homemade bread and date squares were divine. She enjoyed Bingo and cards. She is survived by her niece, Mary Ann David, Guysborough. She was predeceased by sister, Mary Ivy (Thomas) David; nephew, Walter Ambrose David; brothers, Ambrose "Claytus", Anslem; and friend, Bernie Richard. Funeral service will be held Friday, June 25th at 11:00 am in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Larry's River with Rev. Callistus Abazie officiating. Interment in St. Peter's Parish Cemetery, Larry's River. Memorial donations may be made to Guysborough Memorial Hospital or the Canadian Diabetes Association. Connie’s family would like to thank Dr. Ranjini, the nurses, kitchen and cleaning staff at Milford Haven for all their kindness and care during her eleven years with them. Mary Ann was pleased to hear of the Honor Guard and bagpipe music played as Connie was taken from the home. Thank you to Lewis and Shelley for their kindness and compassion.
