Jelleau, Leo Frederick, Age 60, of Aberdeen, and formerly of Port Felix, Guysborough Co., passed away Monday, November 22, 2021. Born in Antigonish, he was a son of the late Reginald Jelleau and Mae Freeman (Perry). Leo was a talented musician, who was known for his ability to play whatever instrument fell into his hands. During his younger years, Leo could be found in front of a hockey net, playing goalie for the Port Felix Olands. He will always be remembered for his love of the Habs. He is survived by his partner, Flora Ann Isadore, Wagmatcook; son, Matthew (Tonya) Jelleau, St. Andrew’s; daughters, Nicole (Patrick) Parker, Bayfield; Natasha (Shane) Milmore, Medicine Hat, Alberta; grandchildren, Rylan, Benjamin, Beau, Kingston, Olivia, Aliza and Zander; brothers, Donald (Raye), Wainwright, Alberta; Thomas (Celine), Whitehead; sister, Vivian (Lloyd) Pellerin, Larry’s River; nephew, Dean; nieces, Patricia, Tiffany and Daphne. He was predeceased by his parents, Reginald and Mae; stepfather, Alvin Freeman; his maternal and paternal grandparents; sister-in-law, Lynn Jelleau. A graveside service will be held for immediate family in St. Joseph’s Parish Cemetery, Port Felix with Rev. Jonathan Nnajiofor officiating. Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Parish Cemetery Fund, Port Felix. Funeral arrangements are under the dignified and compassionate care of G.W.
