Jelleau, Leo Frederick, Age 60, of Aberdeen, and formerly of Port Felix, Guysborough Co., passed away Monday, November 22, 2021. Born in Antigonish, he was a son of the late Reginald Jelleau and Mae Freeman (Perry). Leo was a talented musician, who was known for his ability to play whatever instrument fell into his hands. During his younger years, Leo could be found in front of a hockey net, playing goalie for the Port Felix Olands. He will always be remembered for his love of the Habs. He is survived by his partner, Flora Ann Isadore, Wagmatcook; son, Matthew (Tonya) Jelleau, St. Andrew’s; daughters, Nicole (Patrick) Parker, Bayfield; Natasha (Shane) Milmore, Medicine Hat, Alberta; grandchildren, Rylan, Benjamin, Beau, Kingston, Olivia, Aliza and Zander; brothers, Donald (Raye), Wainwright, Alberta; Thomas (Celine), Whitehead; sister, Vivian (Lloyd) Pellerin, Larry’s River; nephew, Dean; nieces, Patricia, Tiffany and Daphne. He was predeceased by his parents, Reginald and Mae; stepfather, Alvin Freeman; his maternal and paternal grandparents; sister-in-law, Lynn Jelleau. A graveside service will be held for immediate family in St. Joseph’s Parish Cemetery, Port Felix with Rev. Jonathan Nnajiofor officiating.
