Jordan, Ernest Albert Age 90, of Jordanville, Guysborough County, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2022 in High-Crest Sherbrooke Home for Special Care. He was a son of the late Freeman and Nina (Rudolph) Jordan. Ernest was a truck driver for most of his life. He retired from Sherbrooke Historic Village in 1997. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, woodworking, and spending time with family and friends. Ernest is survived by his son, Gary (Debbie), Port Hilford; daughters, Virginia (Larry), Jordanville; Valerie (Carl), Melrose, brother, Raymond, Indian Harbour Lake; sister, Gladys (Edward Hughes), Truro; sisters-in-law, Audrey Jordan, Joan Jordan; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; many nieces, nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his wife Leta; brothers, Leonard, Harold; and sister-in-law Barbara Jordan. Visitation will be held tonight from 7-9 p.m. in St. Thomas Anglican Church, Indian Harbour Lake from where funeral service will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Sue Channen officiating. Interment to follow in Sunset Rest Cemetery, Indian Harbour Lake. Family Flowers only please. Memorial donations may be made to Sunset Rest Cemetery Fund.  Ernest’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff at High-Crest Sherbrooke Home for Special Care for the wonderful care given to their dad.
