WORTH, George William  age 68 of Goshen, Guysborough County passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. He was a son of the late George Worth and Mary (MacLeod) Lavers. George worked offshore and was a sailor. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed time on his ATV. He had an absolute love of the Goshen area where he lived for the past 20 years. George is survived by his son, Adam (Kerri), Upper Tantallon; grandsons, Liam and Jackson; brother, Kevin (Debbie), Dartmouth; sister, Shirley (Derrick) Langille, Lower Sackville; several nieces and nephews. A Family Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery, Cross Roads Country Harbour with Lewis MacIntosh officiating. Memorial donations may be made to St. Martha’s Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit. Funeral arrangements are under the dignified and compassionate care of G. W.
