Lowe, Eldred Cecil "Al" Age 87 of West Lochaber, Antigonish County, and formerly of New Glasgow passed away at home on Monday, August 7, 2023. He was a son of the late John Harold and Margaret A. (Martin) Lowe. Al grew up in Westville, Pictou Co., and went on to study at Acadia University. In his earlier years, he worked for IBM and McCain Foods. Al was a well known and successful businessman who owned and operated three automotive dealerships, Apollo Car Sales, Glasgow Mercury and Highland Honda in Port Hawkesbury. Al retired at the age of 45 and spent many golden years in Florida and his summers in West Lochaber enjoying his fish pond. Al is survived by his wife, Linda and her children, Trevor; Korie (Owen); sister-in-law, Cathy Lowe; nephews, Harold (Cissy) and Paul. He was predeceased by his brother, Harold. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held in the Lochaber Community Centre, 1555 Highway 7 on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 2-6 p.m.  Interment will be held at a later date in North Lochaber Cemetery.
