Monday August 28, 2023 in High-Crest Sherbrooke Home for Special Care.
Born in Melville Cove, Halifax, he was the eldest son of the late

especially when talking about fishing or hunting. He moved to Toronto
in 1964 where he started working for the Ministry of Gov't Services
Ontario. He continued working there in maintenance as a MTCE mechanic
until his retirement. Most days after work, he golfed for many years
with his Scottish wooden head clubs. He was an avid sports fisherman
and had fished in every province except Newfoundland. He also hunted
for moose and deer in 4 provinces. He moved to Charlos Cove in 1990
with his sport fishing boat in tow. He immensely enjoyed his home and
friends he made in Charlos Cove. He is survived by his
brothers, Jim Seel, Percy Seel, both of Ontario; his sister, Judie
(Mike) Pepper, Nova Scotia; his nieces, Sherrye (Gary) Ryan,
Newfoundland; Susan Seel, British Columbia; Diana Radford,
British Columbia; Adrienne (Eugene Heller) Seel, Ontario; Jennifer
Seel, Ontario; and nephew, Robert (Rachel) Pepper, Ontario; also
grandnephews, grandnieces and one great-grandnephew. Ernie was
predeceased by his parents, his wife, Theresa, all his uncles and
aunts and niece, Candy. Memorial donations can be made to the IWK,
Halifax. The family wishes to thank all the medical staff of
Guysborough Memorial Hospital, High-Crest Sherbrooke and Continuing
Care workers who took such good care of him and got his sense of
humour. Cremation has already taken place. Funeral arrangements are
