We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Garnet Milford Fenton. Garnet passed away peacefully in the arms of Betty, his wife of 64 years, on October 29th at the age of 86. Garnet is survived by Betty, his children Steve, Janice, Garnet Jr, Rodney, Joseph, Marlese, 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Garnet was dedicated to and worked hard all his life to support his family. He loved being called Dad but, most of all, Granddad.

He loved the outdoors, wildlife of all kinds and tall tales with old friends.

We invite you to support the family at Giffin’s Funeral Home, Country Harbour on Thursday from 6-9pm. Private family interment will be held Friday in Stormont Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Unit or to Stormont Cemetery would be appreciated.
