HENDERSON, Carmen Embree "The Roadrunner" age 66 of Giants Lake, and formerly of Goshen, Guysborough County, passed away at home on Saturday, February 10, 2024. Carmen was a foster son of Isabell (Fraser) and the late Wallace Cameron; son of Lillian (Langley) and the late Ronald Henderson. Carmen was a welder who worked for Nova Scotia Power for a short period of time. He later worked with Stora Forest Industries in the Silviculture Division. The loves of his life were his precious granddaughters, Hannah and Ella. He loved his special fur baby, Harley who went  everywhere he went. Carmen was a true Montréal Canadiens fan. He loved playing sports in his earlier years, four wheeling, playing cards and darts with his friends. Carmen is survived by his wife, Angie (Hines), daughter, Christina, Westville; son, Steve (Rihanna), Trenton,  granddaughters, Hannah, Ella and her mother Andrea; brother, Bayne (Dixie), Alberta;  sisters, Brenda Henderson, Antigonish; Cindy (James) Walsh, Cross Roads Country Harbour; AnneMarie MacDonald, Antigonish; father and mother-in-law, Gordie (Helen) Hines, Country Harbour, many nieces, nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his brother, Ronnie.  Anyone wishing to have a drop-in visit in honour of Carmen and offer condolences to his family are welcome on Saturday, February 17th, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Goshen Community Centre. With no service, just come have a coffee or tea and pass your love along!
