CAMERON, Barbara Jean April 28, 1959, - March 27, 2024

Barbara Jean Cameron, of Port Hilford, Guys. Co. NS, formally of Sydney, Cape Breton, died at home with the assistance of MAID, on March 27, 2024. She is survived by her husband, Max MacDonald, her sons Devin and Arron Victory and sister Colleen. She loved her grandchildren, Aidan, Kaylin, Dyllan, James, Abby, and special grandson Noah. Barbara also enjoyed spending time with Max’s son Rory, his wife Mora and children Ira, Sterling and Orla.

Barbara spent her working life in the hospitality industry and in general lived her life in service to others. If you were her friend you knew it, and there are many.

At Barbara’s request, she has been cremated and there will be no service. Barbara would have been 65 next month. "I’m a lot pissed that I don’t get to see even one pension cheque!"

She identified with the following written by the late Irish musician Shane MacGowan. "Cram as much pleasure as you can in your life and rile against the pain that you have to suffer as a result and then wait for it to be taken away with beautiful pleasure."
