Foggoa, Elizabeth
Ann age 73 Lower Caledonia, Guysborough County passed
away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, in High-Crest Sherbrooke Home for
Special Care, with family by her side. Liz was born in
Alberton, PEI, a daughter of the late Albert and Yvonne (Perry) Knox.
She was a proud LPN who loved her work. Her passion was caring for
seniors. Liz finished her career at High-Crest Sherbrooke, after many
years of private care in New Glasgow, Halifax, and Guysborough County.
She was a devote Catholic and loved singing in the church choir. Her
children Shawn and Joanne, grandchildren and great-granddaughter were
her pride and joy. Liz is survived by her husband, David; son, Shawn
(Lisa) Foggoa; son-in-law, Colin Willoughby; grandchildren, Jeremy
Rochon, Mallory Willoughby, Eric Willoughby; great-granddaughter,
Aleena Willoughby; brothers, Paul (Cyndi) Knox, Jim (Christine) Knox,
Floyd (Darlene) Knox; sisters, Stella (late Berry) Grey, Irma (Fred)
Rosky, Catherine (Dave) York, Claudia (Allan) LaPierre;
brother-in-law, Michael LeBlanc; sisters-in-law, Evie Knox,
Margaret Knox; many nieces, nephews and their families. She was
predeceased by her beloved daughter, Joanne Willoughby; brothers,
Ronnie Knox, Len Knox, Ray Knox; sisters, Myrna LeBlanc, Bertha Shea.
A Funeral Mass will be held by Archbishop Currie at Saint Vincent de
Paul Church (Christ The King Parish), Dartmouth on Monday, May
27th at 11 a.m. A separate service will be held
in Sherbrooke to be announced at a later date. Special thanks to all
the staff at High-Crest Sherbrooke for their compassion and love given
to Liz while she was in their care. Memorial donations may be made to
