SIMON, Colleen Teresa (Mason) age 65 of Kitchener, Ontario and formerly of Cross Roads Country Harbour, passed away on February 16, 2026. She was a daughter of the late Henry and Ethel (Hallett) Mason. Colleen is survived by her son, David, Kitchener, Ontario; sister, Roseanna (Phonse) MacGrath, Goshen; sisters-in-law, Genevieve Sutherland, Antigonish; Roxanne Simon, Antigonish; brother-in-law, Greg Simon, Kitchener, Ontario; and all other members of the Simon family who have been so kind to Colleen; nieces and nephews, Cindy (Michael) Salsman, Stormont; Susan (Richard) Kernick, Brooks, Alberta; James (Cindy) Walsh, Cross Roads Country Harbour; Tammy Walsh, Liscomb; Stacey (Joey) Mailman, Liscomb; many other nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her husband, Cornelius; brother, Wid Sutherland; sister, Brenda (Ralph) Naugle; sister-in-law, Pauline Sutherland. Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 18 at 4pm in Cross Roads Baptist Church, Country Harbour with Lewis MacIntosh officiating. Interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Cross Roads Country Harbour, followed by a reception in Country Harbour Community Centre. Memorial donations may be made to Evergreen Cemetery Fund.
