DAVID, Gordon "Wayne" age 79 of Port Felix passed away in Guysborough Memorial Hospital on July1, 2026 with his family by his side. He was a son of the late Nicholas and Monica (Cashin) David. Wayne loved being around his family. He enjoyed visiting his family and friends on a time schedule. He loved trout fishing and he had a passion for old cars and drinking Baileys. He is survived by sons, John (Monsie), Hamilton, Ontario; Darryl (Gloria), Half Island Cove; grandchildren, Kevin (Mae), Hamilton, Ontario, Kyle, Hamilton, Ontario; Logan (Kim), Hazel Hill, Destiny (Nicholas), Half Island Cove; Kirkland (Kennedy), Queensport; Amber (Terry), Erinville; James, New Glasgow; Monica (Ruben), New Glasgow; great-grandchildren, Blake, Bryer, Emmett, Hudson, Eli, Grace, Cole; brothers, Victor, Charlos Cove, Lionel (Regina), Port Felix; Sharon (Jerome), Fox Island;  niece, Michelle, Fox Island; nephews, Gerry, Eastern Passage; Michael, Easter Passage; Nicholas, Port Felix, Lisa, England, and  Steven, England. A graveside service will be held on Monday at 11 am in St. Joseph’s Parish Cemetery, Port Felix with Father Jonathan Nnajiofor officiating. No flowers by request. Gordon’s family would like to say a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Canso Seaside Manor and Guysborough Memorial Hospital for their compassion and care not only for Gordon and also his family.
