Cooke, Nancy Jane,
79, Isaac’s
Harbour, Guysborough Co., passed away in St. Martha’s
Regional Hospital, Antigonish, on Sunday, November 11, 2012, with her
loving family by her side. Born in Country Harbour, Guysborough Co.,
she was a daughter of the late Edward and Alice (Hudson) Fenton. Nancy
was an avid bingo player, she loved her cat "Misty",
flower gardening and maintaining her and Howard’s property.
Nancy’s favorite time of year was Christmas, with family
gatherings and all the red glittery decorations. Nancy is survived by
husband Howard; sons, Marty (Patricia) Langille, Coddles Harbour; Dale
(Gwendolyn) Langille, Lake Lands, Mt. Uniacke; John (Liz) Langille,
Glenelg; daughters, Jacqueline (David) Murphy, Half Island Cove ;
Patricia (Joseph) Parker, Canso; step daughters; Cindy (Jim) Parsons,
Port Hillford; Frances (Don) Cooke, Timmons, Ont.; grandchildren;
Sarah, Andrea, Emily, Cory, Jonathan, John Tyler, Emily, Andrew,
Christena, Raven, Devon, Courtney, Robin, Patrick, Shiann;
step granddaughter Blaire; great-grandchildren, Ellie, Lauren, Reinen,
Asia, Daela; brother, John (Lorna), Country Harbour; sister, Patricia
Fenton, Antigonish, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by
grandson, Dustin; brother, Perry Fenton; sisters, Norma Langille and
Nelsie Kaiser. A Celebration of Nancy’s life will be held on
Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 2p.m. in the Goldboro Interpretive
Centre with Lewis MacIntosh presiding. Visitation and reception will
follow in the Center. Interment at a later date. Family flowers only
please. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke
Foundation of Nova Scotia. Funeral arrangements are under the
