Jean, Armand Joseph Anthony -
75, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2012 in High Crest
Sherbrooke Home for Special Care, Sherbrooke. Born May 29,
1937, in Stirling, to the late Anthony Jean and Victoria
Pottie. Dad was a carpenter; cement finisher; construction
worker and an all around handyman who was an avid hunter and
fisherman. He is survived by his children, Debbie (Ted) Bennett, Ecum
Secum; Tony Jean, Alberta; Byron (Darlene) Jean, Lantz; Wanda
Ferguson, Louisdale; Danette (Tom) Lawlor, Halifax; grandchildren;
Kim, Amanda, Brianna, Conway, Cory, Kendra, Avery, Fallon and
Charleigh; 7 great grandchildren; sisters; Eileen Jeffrey,
Louisdale; Elizabeth (Felix) Hachey, Lunenburg; Leona Hachey,
Bathurst; half-sister; Leona (John) Milbury; sister In-law Helen Jean,
Cole Harbour; brothers; Murdock (Nancy) Jean, Lower Sackville; Alex
Jean, Halifax; George (Vincey) Jean, Antigonish; Bernard (Arlene)
Boudreau, West Arichat; half-brother; George (Linda) Brown. Besides
his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Teresa (Gaudon),
brothers, Leonard, Albert; sister Leotione Dalrymple. The family would
like to thank the caring staff at High Crest Home Sherbrooke for their
care, support and compassion during this difficult time. They went
above and beyond and it was truly appreciated. No visitation
by request. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on
Saturday, December 1, 2012 at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic
Church, Sherbrooke, N.S. Father Alphonsus Iwuji officiating, interment
to follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Stillwater. Memorial
donations may be made to High Crest Sherbrooke Home for Special Care.
