KAISER, Katherine Susanne ~ Age 59 of Port Bickerton, passed away on July 3, 2014. Born in Channel, Port-Aux-Basques, N.L., she was a daughter of Leonard and Ruth Mahar Sr., Sonora. Katherine worked at Bickerton Industries and Sonora Clam Plant. She loved the outdoors, plants, trees and flowers. Katherine is survived by her husband, Douglas; Sherri (Adrian) Kaiser-Mailman, Liscomb; son, Craig (Jackie), Port Bickerton; grandchildren, Tiana Burns, Natalya Mailman, Dane Kaiser; step-grandchildren, Chris Sceles, Kristie Lee, Kara Lynn Buttle; sister ChristineBingley, Paradise, N.L.; brothers, John,Kisbey , Saskatchewan, Lennie Jr. (Ruth), Brian (Jennifer), both of Sonora; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister, Darlene; brother, Terri, In keeping with Katherine’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private family committal service will be held in Riverside Cemetery, Senora, Monday, July 7, 2014, with Rev Norman Pearce officiating.
